IP Office preferred edition with 9 hunt groups. The users with the night button are in every huntgroup. If the action data on the button is left blank then all huntgroups go into night service. However their is one group I don't want going to night service, and the user needs to be in it. Any suggestions?

Can the 8 desired huntgroups be listed in the action data?

Not with a button, only with a VM Pro Menu :)

"No problem monkey socks

Thanks, can you describe how that would be programmed in VM Pro?

make 2 buttons,
1 for huntgroup night service with action data empty
1 for huntgroup night service with the action data of the group you do NOT want in night service

you turn all on and then the one off that you want to be excluded, the light will come on for both buttons and when you turn the single group off only that light will come off.

Can you no longer add the a groups as a comma seperated list?

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Matt, that never worked,
I think this supposed to be on 5.0 (from the top of my head) but never made GA.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

all you get is a dropdown (on button programming) and that prevents more than 1 entry, I think they did that to make it easier with all the problems of spelling the group names and stuff

Create shortcodes for huntgroup enable/disable like these ( assuming the length of the numbers are three digits )
• Short Code: #1XXX
• Telephone Number: N
• Feature: HuntGroupEnable

• Short Code: #0XXX
• Telephone Number: N
• Feature: HuntGroupDisable

Then create a button:
Label : HG On
Type : Dial
Telephonenumber : #1100#1200#1300
Then create another button:
Label : HG Off
Type : Dial
Telephonenumber : #0100#0200#0300

These buttons enable / disable membership for the groups 100, 200 and 300.

Sorry, copied from the wrong internal doc, Action of the shortcodes should be SetHuntGroupNightService instead of HuntGroupEnable, my mistake.

And ClearHuntGroupNightService instead of HuntGroupDisable
