I've heard in the past the power supply in the IPO 500 v2 was supposed to be more reliable... I am starting to doubt that.
We have 8 IPO500v2 systems in service. In just the past 4 months I have had 3 systems go down with dead power supplies. The first one would randomly reboot multiple times per week, second one went down and was completely dead, and the 3rd one today, seemingly half died. The CPU/SD lights where off and the card LEDs where solid red. Testing the power supply, the 3.3v rail (blue wire) is jumping between 1.5v and 2v. Replaced the supply, and its back up and working again.
Avaya really should have made the supplies modular.
