Is it possible to have a site say with 14 IP endpoints and one physical phone. My customer is asking for the Avaya one-x-mobile application setup using there existing wireless infrastucture. They would like to use there smartphones as there extensions.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, you will need Voicemail Pro/ Preferred and a deeply One-X Portal. You can do this with a mobile user license. Last I played in the lab it took a IP Phone license as well.

We have customer's using iPod touches with One-X mobile. That had to get a special case that added a microphone to the iPod as it doesn't have a mic built in.

No you will need power users and not mobile users.
Mobile users will not enable the voip option.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

According to the IP Office matrix the mobile worker license should be all you need for the One-x Mobile client. Is that not the case? Or is there limited functionality with just the mobile worker?

The client works but only status (one-x) and the callback option.
If you want to use the voip option (sip remote worker part) then you will need a power user license.

Yea "Voip" Mode only works with the Power user lic. ticked in Manager.

You talk about 14 ip endpoints but one physical phone?
Do you mean 14 users and one hard phone and 14 mobile users?
If yes then you will need one IP endpoint license for that location and 14 power user licenses.
