IP Office 500.
To redial long distance from the incoming or missed call logs on the phone it's not possible since the "1" is missing, only the 9,xxx-xxx-xxxx shows. It's possible to do it from the outgoing log since the number was manually dialed. Is there a way to insert the "1" automatically so all user's can redial long distance from the incoming and missed call logs? How do I do it? We have 5400 series phones and disl 9 to get out.
Thanks!

you would need to have 91 in the prefix for the line to make this work.

Thanks Kwing112000, How exactly or where exactly do I do this? On the phone itsself somewhere? In the IP Office manager somewhere?

in the manager software under lines. Then pick the line you dial out on and in the prefix field you probably just have a 9 and need 91. you will need to reboot to save this change

Hi Kevin,
Ok, I found that under Line>>and on PRI 24. There isa prefix and 9 is entered.
If I add a 1 after the 9 as you mentioned then everyone would have to dial 91 to get an outside line, correct? So after the changes if I dialed local I would dial 91, xxx-xxxx and to dial long distance I would dial 91, 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx

Let me know if this is correct?
Thanks again.

what this does is it adds 91 to the incoming caller ID. it doesnt change how you normally dial out. thats done in the short code section.

Do you have IP phones?

If so check the 46xxsettings.txt file look for SET PHNOL or somethin like that.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.
Do you give support in Florida?

BAS1234,

Where do I find this file? So I can make the changes to the file you mentioned that will effect only the phone itself without making the changes to the IP Office system?

From your post it says you have 54xx phones. those are digital and this file wont help. it is for IP sets. yes we do support all over the US.

Yes all IP phones. I found 3 46xxsettings.txt on the server. I'm not sure which one to use though?

This is what I found for SET PHNOL

## Outside line access code
## The number you press to make an outside call.
## SET PHNOL 9

I didnt see anyting about incoming calls though.

So which do I use the 46xxsettings.txt file or as Kevin mentioned the changes in the IP office manager under lines?
