Hi all, im currently having a problem with an IPO, is automatically creating SIP Extensions, my IPO has only 4 license for SIP phones, i only use avaya video softphone, whatever i do or dont, IPO creates SIP extensions, the only way that i found to delete them is rebooting IPO, the option in system for auto creation is unchecked for LAN1 and LAN2.
Does anyone have any idea how to stop IPO to keep creating SIP extensions?

thanks

The softphone does it.
After login out they will be deleted

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

After login out they will be deleted"... after approximately 3 minutes.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Indeed, the softphone is designed to be used as a temporary solution while out on the road/travelling, as such it creates its own extn and hotdesks the extn you enter onto it, if its a deskphone it will log that off and log it back in once closed :)

"No problem monkey socks

SIP Softphone extensions do not use Avaya IP endpoint or 3th party IP endpoint licenses, they depend on user licensing.
So just leave them there as they dissappear after some time.
The only problem arises if you have a small site license with 28 hardphones/IP Phones, then only four SIP Softphones can be used and when not released after logoff you cannot register a new Softphone until the "old" one has been removed.

thank you all for your response, i thought that i could remove those because they are showing in the "error list" pane with the description "An Extension with this IP address is already configured".

hey guys, im back, well, i logged out all the phones and waited for 10 mins and all the duplicated SIP extensions are still there, the only way that i found to removed them was rebooting IPO [sad] so.... do you have any other suggestion?
