IP Office 500 v2 6.0.8

I have a ip office 500v2 - all ip, the main answer position has a 1616 with 2 - 32 button module on so she can see who is on the phones, etc,etc.

The issue we are having, is that the activity light don't seem to match up when people are on the phone, dnd, activiated,etc. the buttons are programmed as a user button. Has anyone run into this?

The bigger issue you have is that release of firmware on a V2 system, you really need to upgrade ASAP or your config will probably get defaulted without warning and the SD card will be read only

There is also an issue with more then 1 BM32 connected to a 1616.
It just cannot work.
You need to raise a case and ask for modified modules.

I dont' have the official confirmation yet, but I believe 1.300b 16xx firmware fixes the BM32's. It contains 1_1_0.hex rather than 1_0_9.hex.

Maybe you can chase an answer with your contactc Peter.

There is not even a hex file for the BM32 in the latest 6.1 and 7.0 releases

Not sure if this will help but since I was having an issue as well with the attendant console in 6.0.8 Avaya provided me with an early fix prior to the just released Q1 update which did cure a few issues. That release was 6.0.18 which is now superseded with the 6.1 release. See the PDF for more details.

I've sent you the files and PSN docs Peter.

1_0_9 is still supplied with 6.1 and 7, and, as far as I know, will still have the same issue. This has been 9-10 months so far waiting for a fix.

When i look on the SD card then there is only the dbm32 file
The bm32 is gone from r6.1
