IP Office 500 - Message waiting lamp

Hello all,
I have a user with a 5410 with his msg light on, no messages in his mailbox and is not part of any hunt group. Has V16 as a source number, 16 is his extension number.
I have left new msgs and removed them. Still the lamp stays on.
Any ideas?

also, check system status and see what extns / groups have new messages just in case you missed something.
 
I have unplugged the phone with no change, but I will reboot voicemail. Let you know what happens.
 
The lamp will stay on untill you reboot the system more than likely :)

Was this extension used by someone else and the name was changed to current user without clearing the messages?

A few things to try.

Delete the Account in the VM folder and stop and start services..

If that doesn't work. Deleted the account in VM folder and then remove the user and extension from manger.. Reboot magaer and staop and start VM services again..

Add extension and user back in manager...
