IP Office 500 complete reset

I have been tasked with doing a complete factory reset of:
- Avaya IP Office 500
- IP400 modules (two)
The purpose is to clear them (and put them up for sale if possible).
I know how to erase our company config from it. Is there anything else that I can do?

If you can access the company config I assume you can access the unit with Manager.

You just need to use file - advanced - erase configuration (default).

Don't forget to save the licences (if any) file - import/export - export - licence.

Correct, I have access. I just wanted to be sure I didn't need to clear admin stuff, IP's or whatever, as part of due diligence. I suspect we really only care about our config as it shows employee names and etc. Thanks.

Also do a erase security settings.

I don't seem to have credentials to get into Security Settings. If I can't locate any, would the hard reset button on the back of the unit take care of that?

I erased the config and now the security settings menu item doesn't have a config listed, so nothing to remove there. Is it possible that security settings left with the config?

Security setting are in the chassis. And yes the reset button if held the proper amount of time will clear the whole system. I don't recall off the top of my head how many seconds, but that should be easy to Gooogle.

or use the serial port and putty to reset the security settings.

Thanks folks. Yeah, found a doc about the button reset. That's what I'll do.
