Does anyone have instructions on how to connect to the CCC database with a ODBC connection. What I am looking for is the instructions to setup the ODBC so i can us Cyrstal to connect to it.

I don't think you can do that. I think you can use Crystal to create the report and put that into CCC Reporter to be run. I thinnk you can only have 3 custom reports without the Report Designer license which is v expensive (last time I checked).

I haven't actually done though.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong!!!!

How do you know what field to use if you can't connect? Do you just guess?

Pass. Never tried and know less than nothing about Crystal.

Have a look here for some potential help:

Sorry can't help any further.

You dont connect to the database using a ODBC connection

Open up crystal reports and use the field definitions to connect to the .ttx files within

C:\Program Files\AVAYA\IP Office\CCC\Reporting\SDK

you can connect using ODBC and I have done it.

start run odbcad32, add new system dsn, sql server, input user name and password. very easy.

You can then extract the info using whatever tool you need, excel, crystal, etc.
the only problem is that the headers are ridiculously hard to understand what the data is in each, I assume this is Avaya preventing people doing exactly this.
