Is there anyway to have this operate this equipment in Key mode? Do I have to use Call Park to put calls on hold and have them picked up at another phones?
I inherited this system which is a 406DS 3.1(65). They only have three lines and 5 phones. The users are not phone very technologically oriented and have problem with call park. Also, Comcast is the carrier and sometimes when you dial out the call says "number busy". I believe this is timing issue, calls work ok on butt set. Not certain what parameter to change to make dialing more successful. Any clues? Can I do an upgrade straight to rel 5 without any interim steps?
Do not know how long they have had system....I know their's broke and they bought a used one off Ebay....They do not know what they use to do...owner is nice guy,,,but English limited...other people relatively new...Just trying to get it to work for them. They did not want to spend money to replace system...recommended wireless system. Like I said, 3 line and 5 stations...One site...not worth the problem of upgrading..I do not think they need an IP Office system...
