for some reason our on hold message is cutting and out and sounds really bad. I don't think it was always like this is there maybe a reason this would happen?

dumb question #2...

how do i reload it into the system?

Usually I would pile on and type something silly but this time I think not.

You MOH is either plugged into the Audio jack on the back of the control unit or crated as a wav file and loaded into the control unit. So either your external player is broken of the wav file is suspect.

I believe we are using a external source from a Soundbrick 1400. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in and that actually seemed to help with our messages we have recorded but I might have messed up the background music. oops.

Yeah there is a handset that i can use to listen to the messages. All the message sound fine on there. I am just not sure how this is tied into the IP Office 403 unit.

Well i got everything working again but the background music still sounds like trash....

It will be the source I reckon, try using another source such as a PC and if that has the same issue it's the system/port but I doubt it, I have never seen a fault like this to date :)

I am assuming you mean the IP Office 403? I have already rebooted the external audio source
