All,
I was wondering if it is possible to have IP Office 4.0.7+ change the caller ID format that it is outputting.

Current: ##########
Desired: ###-###-####

Any suggestions?

your string should have an "i" in it.

1Nsi508xxxxxxx

I found the "i" changes the format for the called party.

thephonemn,
Where do I change this string at? Also you say it is for the "called party", does this mean for dialing?

I did get a little more info on this, I am trying to change the ICLID format. When I spoke to my vendor they said that this is done on the analog provider side, in my case Qwest. However upon speaking to our Qwest account manager, he said that it should be on the device side of things.

The reason for doing this is the Avaya/MS CRM integration feature. The problem is that our database has all of the phone numbers in the correct formatting, ie ###-###-#### and the integration fails to match because it's searching on ##########.
