Is web manager reliable way to administer phone system yet? In the past we all kinds of weird issues when using web manager. I notice that all the latest training mentions using web manger a lot. I know the experts in this group will have a real life answer
For example even a small system with 5 phones and basic when we changed the buttons it would jack all the phones buttons. I made small change with version 11 on button on my own phone and the sip name changed to my extension and I could not make outbound calls as AT&T blocked it

Thanks for any info

Modifying user name or ext info will also modify sip info whether using manager or web manager - need to have your URIs and/or ASBCE set up to rewrite proper format for carrier so this isn't an issue.

I personally like the web manager for most tasks these days, but out of paranoia I typically don't use it for system affecting reboot stuff. I find it super useful for day-to-day management tasks.

FP4 had all sorts of issues. Get it upgraded and you'll be fine.

SIP name changing was a really annoying one!!!

I really don't trust the web manager. I mean the light version of the admin suite is small and the familiar interface is easy to train other "admins" on.
