I am in the process of spinning up IPO 11.1 FP2 SP2 VMware. I am running into an issue after the ignition process I do the IP Office initial configuration using Web Manager and click apply. The unit appears to restart/reboot but, I can not access it or ping it. I can access it through the console and I verified the network settings are there. If I restart the Virtual machine I can access it again. The only thing I do see is that the BOOTPROTO=none. I believe this should be static.

Has anyone else run into this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a follow up on this. I resolved the issue by changing the default IP address on Lan 2 to something other and the 192.169.43.1
No idea why it has resolved it but, I have been able to reboot it a couple times now and it comes back up. Very Odd.

Came across the same issue today. Add this onto the list of stuff wrong with 11.1.2.2.

I would suggest nobody upgrades to 11.1.2.2 - there are so many issues with this version that I now have 11 SR open with Avaya.

Most are bugs, and others are issues resolved in older version that was not added into 11.1.2.2.

I am installing a fresh copy of 11.1.2.2 on VMware now. I don't believe I've seen this issue but perhaps I worked around it without realizing it.

Would you be willing to share some of the other major problems you're seeing? I am upgrading a client from 10.1 to 11.1.2.2

Thanks.

This is interesting to me, I'm wondering if there are any versions of 11.1 that could be called good, not necessarily for Server Edition, maybe being used with SIP trunks and Workplace?
