Hello,

I have a client with IP 500 V2 R9 with embedded voicemail.

They have queuing set up on each group with Announcements to play.

When you call the group the announcements do not play but when I am on System Status I can see that it is being answered by the Announcement.

There is a recording been made by the group using *91HG# and when I check the recording is saved.

Has anyone experienced this before?

How many callers are in the queue?
By default the embedded voicemail (on an IP500v2) only have 2 channels.
So only two callers can hear the queue announcement at the same time.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

When I am testing I am the only person that is in the queue

Then if it is silent then the greeting is not recorded.
Is it on the SD card?

Well the Announcement is set up for ringing in between the announcements so it just rings all the time instead.

Not sure where to find it on the SD Card, I have been on LVM didn't know where it would be stored.

When I dial the shortcode and enter the huntgroup number and ask to listen to the recording it plays the greeting that has been recorded, should that not update it to the SD card?

Did you actually turn on the announcements on the group itself??
The recording alone is not enough.

The announcement tab has been ticked on the group

I would rerecord and when you are done pressing 3 straight away instead of pressing 1 to listen to it.
I recall that being a bug long time ago.

Hi tlpetr,

I have tried that and again still not working

Try to recreate the SD card as i think it is not working properly.

Every system I have been on this works perfectly without issues.

What is you hunt group extension number
Do you have any overflow set before your huntgroup announcement timer.

Press *91 extn number #

Are you sure it's the correct hunt group you are dialing to test it.

Eg: hunt group 131
Announcement ticked
Set the timer to play first announcement .
Remove any thing that would bypass the timer.

Delete and rebuild your hunt group.
Try testing on another hunt group.

Changing the name is a good tip.
I have seen strange issues when the name was the same as the system name for example.

Solved the issue, turns out to be the short code.

With just glancing at the shortcode never noticed it until I really looked.

For some reason the short code was set to:

*91N;
"N"."2"
0

There was extra quotations that shouldn't have been there, no idea why it was there but the problem is solved now.

Thanks for the help guys
