IP 500 Replaced 16 port Digital Board

Our 16 port digital board fried the other day. We recived our new board today. Upon plugging the board in and rebooting the ip office, none of the phones are booting up. In manager the software on the board is showing 4.1 (31) when everything else is useing 4.2 (14). Any ideas?

That is actually 2.1.31, it needs upgrading then it will show 6.2.14

To updgrade it, do i have to use the serial port on back? Or is there a way to upgrade through manager?

You may need to upgrade the software level on the board to match that of the system as peripherals such as cards and modules are shipped on a default software build.

Use Manager...File, Advanced , upgrade make sure you change the directory to the 3.2.999 folder within the Manager folder and upgrade to that first then change it back to the Manager folder and upgrade again to the final level

In the manager application file > advanced > upgrade and then select the module you need to upgrade (check what level you manager software is currently running to see it matches the software level of the system so in your case 4.2(14)

telcorookie, look above...don't forget the 3.2.999 step or you will get some issues you will not like

As amr says make sure you change the working directory to 3.2 999 good luck
