Hi All,

Customer want the BT IP OFFICE banner removed from the 16xx handsets, how do i do this on the IPO?

You can’t.

It’s a BT branded system.

And no you can’t change it either.

The only way is to replace the IP500V2 control unit, the BT branding is "burnt" into it when the branding licence is applied and can't be removed.

“Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH'.
The paint wouldn't even have time to dry.”

Terry Pratchet

Make sure if you get a new control unit you remove the license from the config or the new control unit well get branded as well.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Well that's a pain in the butt.

The control unit has been swapped out for a spare and the spare is a BT box.

Oh well, thanks for letting me know :)

I call BT branding the herpes of Avaya... Easy to get and impossible to get rid of.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
