Have a 406 v2 on 3.2.69 with VM Pro. The voicemail Pro is actually running on customers server 2003 SP2. Has been running fine for 4 plus years. Yesterday licenses come up as invalid. Voicemail will run for 2 hours and stop. Under services key server and both vmail services are started. We have restarted all services,the server and also the PBX numerous times. I even uninstalled the voicemail pro and reinstalled it today. IT person says no updates on the server have occurred. USB shows rainbow driver as good. Customer has unplugged the USB dongle and reinstalled as well. Ran a voicemail debug as well. Any suggestions???

Can you ping the IP Office from VM Server? Good place to start

Yes
I also see the icon for the feature key server in the tray and it appears to be fine.

Just some tips you might wanted to try;

Firewall on the server turned off?
Tried a different USB port?
Tried to reboot the IPO?

In the Manager set the IP addres to a static IP, the IP address from the VM server. Don't leave it on default 255.255.255.255.

Thanks. I have tried all the above suggestions with the exception of changing the USB port. I had customer unplug from USB but probably plugged into same spot. Since it is on the customer's small business server, which I have always been opposed to, the IT person is telling me it is not a firewall issue. If it were a firewall, I have always seen that voicemail just wont work at all. This will work for the two hours with the invalid licenses??? I just can't get the license to validate.

I have also considered taking my laptop onsite and making it the voicemail server.

Thanks to everyone's suggestions today. Earlier in day I removed the voicemail pro software and reinstalled it thinking it may be corrupt. The customer's server ofcourse wanted to reboot at that time once the new software was installed. Couldn't reboot server until now. It came back up valid.
