I have just setup 2 new users on a system running version 7 on ip office. they are able to dial out externally and dial internally but are unable to receive calls from the outside. they are setup on an ip office box at one site and are at a different site. That site has an ip office box as well but doesnt have the licenses to support any more users. Ideas???

is there no way to make this work the way that it is setup?

If the systems and SCN are setup correctly it does work like this :)

they can dial to any extension at any site and can make outgoing calls just cannot receiving incoming calls through the auto attendant. they are not set up with a DID so they have to get their outside calls through the auto attendant. any ideas on what to check?

Check what happens with "monitor"
When the phone works except for this then it is not a licensing issue.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

lets say the extensions are 101 and 102
create a shortcode like this
sc = *8101
tn = 101
action = dial
line id = scn line to remote

sc = *8102
tn = 102
action = dial
line id = scn line to remote

transfer from aa to *8101 or *8102

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

thanks for all of the ideas. i added the extensions to the main menu where you can direct dial the extensions inside VM Pro and it works now
