Greetings All,

I did a search on here about the Intra-CDR looking to find if there was a comment or question about any additional actions that might be required to fully remove an extension from ASA.
Using the Change Intra-CDR .. I was able to locate the extension in the table .. and delete it .. however, when I go to recreate the extension again for another purpose, the system continues to see the extension still in use .. When I do a display station .. the response/reply says that it no longer exists .. so this is confusing and I'm wondering what else I may have to do .. or may have overlooked.

Thank you in advance
Jae

And you've performed a 'list usage extension xxxx' on it already? That should tell you any other spots the extension may exist on the system.

@Sean655

Yep! It was the 1st thing I did before taking it off the Intra-CDR .. always checking for that kind of stuff ..
I eventually did a sa tr .. and then went over to CM and did an incremental sync ..

I'm just going to give it a rest at this point .. sometimes the connection is flaky.
Thanks for taking the time to reply .. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't overlooked something

Are you using ASA (command line) to remove the station but using System Manager to create it?

Changes directly to CM via command line don't always make their way to the databases in System Manager. An incremental sync should fix most issues but it would be better to do all your User and Endpoint creation or deletion in System Manager.

Thanks so much for the replies .. I was able to finally 'get it GONE'

@ZeroZeroOne
Yes, to answer your question - I'm not the admin to the system - and implemented our Avaya stuff for VoIP - we ended up having to put TEO TSG phones defined as SIP devices hanging off .. and for whatever reason in order to get them properly working we have to create them in this way.

So, yes .. I had done an incremental sync - it was just being its ol' flaky self, but had me worried there for a bit and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something I had overlooked in haste.

Thanks!
