Performing an installation for a customer. Other two locations have 4.6 modules running 3.2.57.
When I install the 4.6 module and upgrade the system to 3.2.57, the 406 goes into a reboot loop. If I remove the VCM, the unit boots without an issue. Replace the VCM, reboot loop. A replacement 406 and VCM are on their way. Can find not documents relating to 3.2.57 issues.

The only time I have had a 406 reboot from VCM is when I put an old 403 (5chan) one into a 406v2. I'm not sure if that helps or not.

what size of a VCM are you putting into the 406? If you're putting a VCM 30, that might be your problem.

Without sounding like Im doubting any ones abilities to put in a VCM. You havent dont a "Provider special and miss aligned the pins when installing have you?

When I had a 5 channel VCM go bad, it was rebooting my 403.
Replacing the VCM fixed their problem, and stopped the rebooting.

Double checked the pins. 406v1. Not sure of the vcm. Replacement units, 403 and vcm are supposed to be on site tomorrow.

I had this problem twice: the first one wad due to wrong pin insertion, the second one it was a VCM5 and I solved the problem by deleting cfg via DTE before VCM was connected.

Sorry it was a 406v2 unit. Bad VCM. Replacement vcm worked great.
