Does anyone here have any experience of using group policies to install VFP applications? I use the VFP version of Installshield Express to create the installation package.

We've been experimenting and coming up with some problems. What seems to happen is that the exe & VFP gets installed OK, but only for the administrator. If another user tries to use the app, they get the error about not finding the VFP runtime library.

Running the msi file itself seems to install the program correctly, possibly because I have the dialog about installing for all users.

Thanks,

Stewart

I have run into this before. If I remember correctly there are check boxes in Installshield that you can check to add the missing libraries during the install build. Are the missing files actually missing or only available to the administrator? Are they on a local nachine, network ??
