System has been operating for years, no problems.

Today, I added an extension. I must have inadvertently done something else.

I hear ring when I dial in. Nothing is displayed on any of the phones.

They can make outgoing calls.

All Ines are assigned to calling group 1

Calling group 1 directs calls to the auto attendant.

I am wondering if I might have deleted the time profile.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

Andy

Simplist thing to do would be to load an older config to get back up and running then rebuild the extension.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

Can you dial *17?

Did you made a system status trace to see what is happening?

Did you check sys monitor?

Did you do anything to analyse the issue?

How did you mess up so badly by adding an extension? Some training may be in order.
Do as budbyrd did...to to file, offline, open config, open the latest config in manager, then file offline, send config, and put your stuff back the way it was.
Unless you've made more changes since then....

I want to summarize and say thank you.

The final problem is as was suggested, broken wire feeding the lead number to the switch.

The suggestions here are / were invaluable and I learned a ton.

Thank you all for your help

Andy
