Incoming caller ID

We're on a PRI circuit from Bellsouth, not sure of exactly all the options we have (but can find out), and I've recently enabled CNDA on everyone's phones to show names internally.

What does it take to get external names shown on our phones? Currently we get the caller ID number, but no name.

I may be missing a major concept here, am I?

BTW, it's an Option 11C using 2616 phones and release 25.3 I believe.

YOU WILL NEED 2 THINGS 25.40B RELEASE AND MAKE SURE THAT THE LOCAL LEC CAN SEND THE NAME OVER THE PRI

you need that turned on by bs, check your enl msgi in load 96, if yout getting names you;ll see thme there.

Keep in mind that even if you go to 25.40b you have to change the interface to ni2 and so does the co.
