Greetings,

We recently changed phone providers. Since then, Incoming caller ID on what seems to be all phones, you will see the number, but not the name. If you place the call on hold, and go back to it, the name of the company/person is there. What might be the problem and if there or how do I fix it? Thank you

If all that changed was the carrier and no programming changes were made I would be asking the carrier.

When I asked them about it they claimed it was the cs1k. I could press them again.

It must have something to do with the Call Presentation. Do your phones had ADD or TDD in CLS?

Check the RCAP of the d-channel-------------------I have seen this exact senario when NDS is not in the RCAP.

Thats a great question KCFLHRC. Is there a way I can poll them to find out?

Kstaff22, How would one go about checking the RCAP of the d-channel. My skills within CS1K are mainly making changes to phones with little knowledge after that. I appreciate your help on all of this you guys.

Print out a phone in ld 20 and see if in CLS you have either ADD or TDD. You will need to know what D-channel # you are inquiring about and print it out in ld 22 or print all the adan info in ld 22 and post back the d-channel info. You are getting the name after you put it on hold so I'm assuming the carrier is sending it.

We have TDD, but i honestly cannot guarantee this is on all sets.

I went to ld 96:

>ld 96
DCH000
.stat mon
TRACE OUTPUT
DCH LOG : OFF
DCH TTY : ON
ACTIVE TRACES
DCH 008 : MSGI - DSBL MSGO - DSBL (UIPE)
DCH 009 : MSGI - DSBL MSGO - DSBL (UIPE)
DCH 024 : MSGI - DSBL MSGO - DSBL (UIPE)
DCH 027 : MSGI - DSBL MSGO - DSBL (UIPE)
DCH 063 : MSGI - DSBL MSGO - DSBL

Does this help?

That's just d-channel monitor, doesn't tell us anything

I'm sorry. I have limited knowledge of the ld's outside of 20,22 and 23. What command should I run?

To check RCAP you will need to go to LD 22
Prt
Adan DCH X

RCAP will be about 2/3 of the way down in the printout

To determine which DCH, you may want to print out your RDB in LD21

** Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.
