Hey!
I have a IPO small office edition. and it's not displaying the incoming call id. I tried to connect a analog set with call id display directly with the telephone line, it works. but no luck with my IPO. Any ideas? Are there settings i can play around? I tried to enable the long call id options, and change all locale settings to my country (china), but still no luck. It will be great if someone can help me on this. Thanks in advance.

does the call ring on the phones or do you send it to the voicemail, the CID information comes between the first and second ring as an information burst so make sure it rings twice. set the line type to Loopstart ICLID which is the default in North America.

yes, it rings but without call id. just an "External" displayed on my 5402 set. My truck type is Loopstart ICLID. The call id displayed on the first day my tel-line provider enable CALLID display for me. but it has never shown again since that day. Is it strange?

and i also cannot find the call id within my logs from monitor and smdr records.

And you get the caller ID with your analog set?

yes, i have the call id displayed at the second ring.

OK, i have solved the problem. I restored the IPO to the default configurations, and figure out that someone accidentally delete the dialin in the incoming call routing. I think that's the trick. Anyway, thanks for your replies.

You guys need any IPO techs in China? I might not mind a few months of travel.

Hi aarenot,
Well, seems like no one here can provide such support. But if you don't mind, you can come for the olympic, and play some table tennis. you are more than welcome!

I may be in China for an international aid charitable organization anyway for some time around the olympics, and thought you might know someone there that might need a trained IP Office technician to enable me to extend my stay longer.

I think there should be. I'll let you know then. :)
