Hi,
What is the best way in typesetting with Adobe Illustrator to do the sign for inches? should they be vertical or slanted...example: 4" x 4"???

Thanks!

What I'm doing is a list of images in a book that lists the sizes:

4" x 4", 15" x 20", etc.

What would the standard be for that usage?

Thanks!

A digital press book ordered on the internet for an artist...so an artist's catalog basically.

Well, in that case, do what you want. Be creative. I don't think any special rules would apply there... If the artist asks you "Why the heck did you use those leaning quote marks?!", tell him it's an obscure convention used since the 1300 by Gregorian Monks, and if he's so great howcome he hasn't heard of it.
