I want to make it so our Call Log has the number with 9 already in front, so we don't have to edit the number to call someone back.
I created a new table, Table 1 is the one I created. Table 0 already existed, but doesn't appear to be applied to any routes.
Also added table 1 to Route 6, as I THINK this is the only DID route.

Looking at the below data, can anyone see what I've missed? Sorry it's so much data, wasn't sure if someone would see something in the other tables, or routes...

Guessing that your PRI is D100 which unfortunately doesn't support DAPC feature.

In the UK, we got this feature to work by creating a new DAPC table and having "9" in front of e.g. "0" and "00" etc.

Another method that could work is using Pre Translation, but this depends on your internal numbering range and the leading digit dialled. In the UK, our numbers start off with a "0" and it's possible to assign the Attendant with a different number other than "0" and then use Pre Translation on all phones so that when redial is pressed that "0" in the assigned XLST area dials e.g. "90" and any other number is routed out.

Looks like it is a d100. LD 22 is below.
I don't think the 0 would help us here in Canada. As telcom doesn't send 0's for our numbers...
I will see if the XLST can be programmed to dial 9 with pre-translation... Is there another form post where someone has done this that I could reference? Since we don't want to add a 0, the fact that our attendant is already 0 should not be affected, at least I don't think it will.

If you are referring to RT6 where you have enabled DAPC table 1 where you are adding 9 to E164 INTL calls only I would have thought in Canada you would want something along the lines of:

**DAPC**PREFIX TABLE NO: 01 **
UNKN**INTL**NATL**ESPN**LOCL**ELOC**ECDP**
UNKN*
E164* 9011 91
PRIV*
E163* 9011 91
TELX*
X121*
NATL*

Also depending upon the release of software you are on there is other options in latest release, Numzone DAPC and Flexible CLID manipulation (but don't think this is available in D100)

Changed table 01 to the following
**DAPC**PREFIX TABLE NO: 01 **
UNKN**INTL**NATL**ESPN**LOCL**ELOC**ECDP**
UNKN*
E164* 9 9011 91
PRIV*
E163* 9 9011 91
TELX*
X121*
NATL*

basically 9 - Unknown, 9011 - Intl, 91 - Natl

When I call It's still not apending 9 to my number.
Is this because it's a D100? If so is there another way to do this?
Should I also put 9 under Locl, or does that mean local as in local dn?
Based on what you see from my route table above, is RT6 the only one that I need to apply this to? Or could there by others?

Did you change Route 0 to have DAPC = YES and then table 1 selected as your original thread shows Route 0 to have DAPC = NO.

To be fair how would we have the first iota which route your calls come in on. You can enable dch messaging in ld 96 then if it is one of the d100 routes you should see the inbound setup message if you posted that we would have a starting point. Also what release is the switch on?

FirebirdScrambler - I did not change route 0, as I didn't think it was an incomming route. should Route 0 have DAPC set to yes, in addition to the DID route?

I wasn't sure if you could tell just by looking at the RDB's or not... I enabled the dch messaging and placed a call.
this tells me it is E164 NATL that needs the 9.
Either the issue is DAPC is not applied to all the routes necessary, or because it's a D100 this doesn't work?

Go to where I keep my guide and follow the Networking instructions so that you have a list on what outgoing codes use when dialling out as you will probably have different RLI's for different codes.

Although your DCH is "6", I don't know if route 6 is being used. I can see that you have set it correctly against route 6 for DAPC = YES and TABLE = 1.

It could be that you are using another route for incoming against the one for outgoing and that the DAPC will need to be set against the incoming trunks.

Some customers have requirements whereby only certain trunks / routes are used for incoming from one provider and using a different provider for outgoing.

bignose21 - Did the print TNB - looks like I'm Route 10. What does the 2 mean beside the 10?
I can't add DPAC to route 10 though, it's not an available option.

Firebird - I do have your utility. I've grabed the network info. There are quite a few AC1's, and I see MOST RLI's are 1 or 2, there are a few 3, 4, and 5 though. ALL are route 0.

OK. We know that Route "0" is being used on your outgoing calls. We also know that your DCH is "6".

DAPC can only be set against supported digital trunks and not against any COT ones.
If your phones digital display hasn't changed with showing a e.g. "9" in front on external incoming calls then I would think that you will have problems getting it to work.

As you said, Route 10 doesn't give you the DAPC prompt.

So its in Route 10 which is also D100 can you enable DAPC table 1 against that route? But I think it would need to be trunk type DID instead of ISA to do that.

No I cannot enable DAPC on Route 10 at all.
Can I just change between ISA and DID? Or am I asking for problems changing trunk types?

Route 10 is the master ISA route for service routes 0, 5 and 6. The ISA master route contains the physical channels that are shared by the different service routes (SVRT).
Route 0 is an incoming service route, probably for the main number of your site. Route 5 is your outgoing route.
Route 6 is your incoming DID route. Likely your test call came in on route 6 but used a channel that was assigned in the master route 10.

You can try turning DAPC on for route 0 to be but these are all D100 so I doubt it will work.

There was a group of patches specifically written for release 4.5 and 5.0 that provided all the features that you get in numzones (DAPC is part of that) but they were specific for a customer we had and they would need reworking to 5.5 for you. If you you want I can try and dig out the details but would not expect that Avaya would work on software at that release.

Bignose,
I'd like to see the instructions if you can find them.

Is using DMI's an option to get 9 added to the call log?
Right now there are no DMI's configured in this system.
If I built one with
DEL 0
INST 9
CTYP NCHG
Would this add the 9 to the call log?

DMI is to alter the called number not the calling number.

Like I say these were customer specific patches and last release was at release 5.0
MPLR24408 - Display correct CLID for E.164 and local calls and provide zone based DAPC feature.

Zone Based DAPC:
The current configuration for route based DAPC must be removed for zone based DAPC to work properly. For each zone that requires DAPC feature, the AC1, INTC and NATC are configured in the ZDES string in LD 117 so that the required Dial Access Prefix can be added to the CLID for sets that belong to this zone. The command is described as follows:

In LD 117
chg zdes <zone> “zpre <site prefix> zcc <country code> zac1<site AC1> znatc <national access code> zintc <international access code>”

For example: Numzone prefix 100 (NPA=713, NXX=234); zone 1; country code = 1; site ac1 = 9; natc = 1; intc = 011:

chg zdes 1 “zpre 100 zcc 1 zac1 9 znatc 1 zintc 011”

The zone based DAPC patch will add the appropriate dial access prefix to the CLID for the following call types:

• Add 9 to 7132341234 (local call) so that 97132341234 is stored for redialing.
• Add 91 to 6131234567 (national call) so that 916131234567 is stored for redialing.
• Add 9011 to 3120123456 (international call) so that 90113120123456 is stored for redialing.
