I have a pair of 8700s running 3.1.2. When a caller dials one of my toll free numbers that routes to a VDN it comes over the LD circuit and shows up on the agents phone LCD as the name of the trunk group and name of the VDN. Is there anyway the customers number can show up on the agents LCD instead? Thanks

try messing with incoming call handling treatment for the trunk,, I think I had to add a blank line

display inc-call-handling-trmt trunk-group 2 Page 2 of 30
INCOMING CALL HANDLING TREATMENT
Service/ Called Called Del Insert Per Call Night
Feature Len Number CPN/BN Serv
public-ntwrk 4 bn-only

I also remember changing something esle,, I think it was in system features,,, but not sure
I found this on page 8, don't know if it is needed or not...

ISDN PARAMETERS

Send Non-ISDN Trunk Group Name as Connected Name? n
Display Connected Name/Number for ISDN DCS Calls? n
Send ISDN Trunk Group Name on Tandem Calls? n

Messed around with all of those variables and nothing. I did a "list trace tac" on the LD trunk and when the call came in it said "NO - CPName, NO CPNumber" so I'm wondering if this is a feature not turned on in my LD circuit.

if you do a list trace on the trunk and in there it shows no name that means your carrier isn't sending you any ANI or the caller is calling from a number which doesn't have outbound caller id which is also programmed at the telco's end....usually if there's ANI info it will pass thru your VDN to the terminated station....
