Need help figuring out how to turn an image into a hyperlink. i have tried using vba in on click event of image to no avail. i have placed hidden button over image to no avail. i have tried using hyperlinkaddress property on image which only works if you right-click first and then left-click. is there a solution that will allow me to only see the image and click on it once to follow hyperlink?

I am pretty sure hidden will ever work.

What I do is place a transparent command button over the image.

You can use the hyperlink address property

or

use the on click event to run VBA code.
TIP: With this mehod place a space (" ") in the hyperlink address. This will cause Acces to change the mouse cursor to a hand like a hyper link.

Post what you tried ... should be something like:

[blue]Application.FollowHyperlink "[purple]C:\rkill.log[/purple]", , True[/blue]
or
[blue]Application.FollowHyperlink "[purple]http:\\dictionary.com[/purple]", , True[/blue]

... works for me!

I was going to suggest animation of your image so it behaves just like a button ... as in the following: Making an Image Look and Act Like a Button

It is much more appealing and pretty cool! ...
