Hope you bright guys bear with me. See, I'm a dope n these things, and now I've this problem:

See, I've been using Visual Fox Pro to store some important record about clients. So, suddenly my supervisor is demanding that information n excel.

Happen to be that I'm a real, real, real ignorant and I'm totally freaked out because don't know what to do.

Could someone help me out?

Define in excel.

If they are in VFP they can be exported to excel.

In the simplest form, open the table and use the command window to:

copy to myfile.xls xl5

If you have long text fields or memos - you will need to work a little harder!

Griff's way is the easiest way. You need to format it, but that's not a big deal.

If you don't have a ton of data, and want a little more control, you can have vfp &quot;talk&quot; directly to Excel using automation.
