Well, as the Subject suggests, i have problems opening IE.
It loads, but before I can do anything, an error message pops up saying

"IE has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I've tried cwshredder and adaware, and as much of the things on bcastner's FAQ. I was unable to do them all, because IE doesn't work (not even through explorer), and so I can't get to some of the things. Also, I'm sorry to admit, my Antivirus program is not as updated as it could be.

So, here's my Hijack log report:

By the way, I did have to go to another computer to post this.

Thanks for taking your time to help me!

Try this:

Control Panel, Internet Options, Advanced, uncheck "Use third-party browser extensions."

Reboot and test.
Report back here.

No, it still doesn't work...

Here's some more information:
When the error message pops up, there's also a more info ...link-type thing

When it opens up it says

Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2600.0
ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.27.34.1600
Offset: 0013947e

I don't know if this does anything, but if it helps...

Start, Run, CMD

Either enter each line and hit enter, or open notepad and copy/paste the below into notepad and call the file ie_fix.cmd. Double click the file to merge the registry contents.

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll

Alright!

It works now!

Thank you SO much for helping me!
