IDU ON M3900 SETS

Last night I installed some M3903 telephones for the first time. I updated the firmware(FDLU) and all features are working. The only problem is, I can't IDU the M3903 telephones. Is there anything special I need to do to allow me to IDU the telephones? When I do a FSUM, I can see the telephones, see printout below.

Also, I have no problem using IDU on my M3904s or M2000 series telephones. Only these M3903s I installed for the first time yesterday. Also, the telephones are refurbed. The FWVU is below. Opt 61C PBX, rls 4.5

no reason that the 02 should not idu.. we have a dozen or so and that's the 1st time i;ve heard about an idu problem

My issue is with the firmware. If I IDU before the firmware upgrade, it works fine. After the firmware upgrade, IDU does not work. The 3903s currently use flash firmware version 36, which does not support Corp Dir. My PBX updates them to flash firmware version 88, which does support Corp Dir. I guess I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, unless Nortel has a patch that allows me to upgrade the firmware and use IDU. I hope this information is useful if anyone else has the same problem. I will update the thread if Nortel has a fix.
