ID update ip office system (3.2_57)

Has anybody done an id update yet
i had to change some details in an ip office system 3.2(55)
and when i send the config back i recieved an popup with
this configuration contains records that require an id update after this the systems needs a reboot i saw this subject in the Technical_Bulletin_Number_83 but dont fully understand what they mean with this

I think you have to do it. It only needs to be done once per system.

Ive done it on a test system here at the office.And its acting pritty normal after the change
