ICA shadowing?

Am I able to shadow ICA sessions? I made sure it was enabled in usermanager>config, and in connection manager.... but when I click on a session in server admin, and go to the action menu, shadowing is greyed out.... why? (also greyed on the right click menu) We are using Metaframe 1.8 (SPK 2, build 663) Running on NT terminal server 4.0 (SPK 6).

Are you trying to shadow from the console?

I can shadow systems when I log in from my system, but everything is greyed out at the console......

yes I am... what do I have to do? Install the admin tools on my machine?

You cannot shadow a session from the console. Only from a session on your own system.

For whatever reason, I can't shadow from the console, I guess it's a citrix thing (somebody with more experience could probably explain why, I sure don't know).

I use the ICA client from my machine, log in as admin (or any account with domain admin rights), then shadow users from there.........

I never thought of installing admin tools on my machine; Anybody out there have any advice if/how this is done?

Sorry I don't have more to offer; I'm still a rookie when it comes to citrix;

where are you getting this list of users.... do you have the admin program (citrix server administration) as a published application?
