We have i2004 sets with firmware 0604D98 on a Cisco lan. CS1000 is at release 3. The sets lose dialtone and sometimes a vibrating line in the middle of the display. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks.
Someone tell me there's a problem with the power on lan with Cisco, they use a propriate power on Lan and not the public power on LAN.
If you use power on Lan try to use a i2004 phone with an external power.
We came across the same problem too, its been passed back to Nortel as a problem they can recreate and are working on a solution ! I'll update again once we get a response from them.
how many TNs do you have left that you can configure. Try outing a TN that has very little use and rebuild your phantom phone again. Your SLT print out in LD 22 will tell you how many remaing TN's you have.
We've just heard that Nortel I writing a new firmware to resolve this issue. So we are now awaiting this to arrive to test it ! Will post back once we have done.

I have just upgraded from D88 to D98 firmware in an attempt to fix the DHCP problem that we had been experiencing.
I am now getting the problems reported by MrPederman above, but cannot find the D9C firmware to correct this.
Any ideas where I can find it?
I have searched the Nortel site but to no avail.
