I have a problem with the wireless connection between my laptop (Win 2000) and my router (D-Link DI-514). This is what happens, when I start using my wireless card I get assigned an IP from the router (gateway and DNS and that stuff too). The IP is correct. The router registers the MAC-address, so it obviously sees the laptop. The thing is I can’t ping the laptop from the router and the router can’t be pinged from the laptop. So I can’t connect to the internet. I don’t know what’s wrong…
(The Laptop has been used in a wireless network before, so I know it been working before…)
Things I’ve already done:
Changing the SSID
Trying different channels
Testing with the different security modes (WEP, no WEP, filters, no filters, and so on)
