I have IPOffice basic system and using nortel phones

Do yourself (& your customer) a big favour & move them off muppet mode & on to essential edition (the clue is in the name folks!)
Meanwhile I do not think it is possible to program any IPO from the handset
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Yes, it can be programmed from x10 BUT NORSTAR MODE is not supported in US.
