I get "unobtained" or "waiting for line" on PRI outbound

I have configured PRI on Avaya IPO500v2 for the first time but get "unobtained" if I dial 9 bcos I configured 9N/Dial/Ns9085558899/0 as System ShortCodes
OR "waiting for line" if I make inbound call I get Network Busy instead of my Auto Attendant
 
What are you using for the incoming and outgoing line group. This needs to match the ARS and the incoming call routes.

As teletechman said your line group needs to match, that's the first thing to check. You also haven't indicated whether or not the PRI is showing 'In Service' in SSA. If its OoS then thats the issue you need to resolve first.
 
@teletechman I'm using group 0 for both incoming & outgoing

@DaIOPTek what does SSA means
 
Check the CRC setting on the trunk.

Is the led on at the trunk port (9)?

Send the code 9N to the ars (50)end set a dial timer there (4 seconds).

The point is that you are only sending 080 to the provider.

Thanks for your time. As I have said I'm new to IPO.
CRC is unchecked as requested by the provider (Etisalat, now 9Mobile)
I'v changed dial timer to 4 sec and ARS 50:main to 9N/N/Dial/0
 
I was dialing 9 08034989090 but no response whatsoever
 
the LED on trunk port 9 blinks red after 5 seconds of green.
I have remove the system shortcode, so I'm using only ARS 50:main 9N/Dial/N/0 with 4 seconds timer
 
That doesn't work.

You need the system shortcode 9N, Dial , N, 50.

Then in ARS 50, set the dial time out to 4 seconds.

Enter a shortcode ?, dial, .(dot), 0


Good to see that led 9 is green. That means that the trunk is up and running..

 
The shrtcode MUST be 9N;(semicolon)/N/Dial/0
There are a hughe number of examples how to setup shortcode's for USA in this forum, use the search feature.

I have done all that but i still cant make or receive calls
 
You could start with a proper trace in monitor, disable all you don't need to see and enable the ISDN filter and the default Call filter with shortcodes enabled and dsiable Map and all the other filters as it does not provide any usefull output.
Then try again ans post the oucome as a attachment (not inline here).
Maybe then we can point out the problem, now it is fishing in the dark.
 
I'm staying in Nigeria, so PRI/E1 provided is 30 channels but licensed 22.

PLEASE HAVE LOOK AT MY CONFIG and see if all is done appropriately
