Hello everyone,

we facing problem that ,we cannot make a call for the specific numbers

I will give example to understand me:
in my region there is spacial number for police(999),and ministry of interior (11991)....etc, we are not able to a call this numbers

form the landline, but its working fine if a call from my cell phone.

Thanks

activenew, do you mean you cannot call from an extension of your MD110 to these numbers?
Can you call from an operator console?
Are you in KSA?

Yes, cannot call from ext to these numbers
I did not try from an operator.

I will try when reach my office, and i will feedback the result.

Thanks

Yes, when a calling these numbers from the operation set working well.

when connected phone directly to MDF , i am able to a call these numbers.

What should to do to solve this issue?

I think the problem internally not from the service provider .

Thanks

Dialling of specific numbers from extensions is performed by call discrimination. NACDS and category relations allow numbers to be dialled or barred from extension users. You can print your call discrimination settings with NADAP:NUMTYP=CD;

< NADAP:NUMTYP=CD;
NUMBER ANALYSIS DATA
CALL DISCRIMINATION DATA
EXTERNAL/INTERNAL NUMBER CAT
0 4 3 2 1
1 4 3 2 1
2 4 3 2 1
3 4 3 2 1
4 4 3 2 1
5 4 3 2 1
6 4 3 2 1
7 4 3 2 1
8 4 3 2 1

901 4 3
902 4 3
903 4 3
904 4 3
905 4 3
906 4 3
907 4 3

If you want to change from cat4 CAT3.

Thanks

You have a restriction on 9 (public access code?) to allow only Cat 3 and 4 to dial 900 to 907.
If you wany any extension to dial 999 you must add this in by using NACDS:NUM=999,CDCAT=1&&4;
If your question about cat4 and cat3 refers to your access to 900&&907 to remove CAT 3 do
NACDR:NUM=900&&907,CDCAT=3;

I hope that helps.

Hi

They are not extension CATs they are call discrimination categories. Look in the TRAF extension categories for digits 3&4 for day discrimination. e.g. Digital:

KSDDP:DIR=xxxx; shows CAT 5
EXCCP:CAT=5; shows dig 3&4 = 03 in the TRAF
3 is the call discrimination category for this extension
to change the category
KSCAC:DIR=XXXX,CAT=4;

best parnum

Thanks parnum, I was aware of that but I did not make that clear in my reply.

Thanks parnum and himdp for support,

I have changed my ext to CAT4 , after made this change i am able to dial (900)

My question is ,I want allow ext with cat3&4 to dial these numbers(999,907,19911,900,909)

is possible to assign specific Ext to dial theses numbers(999,19911,907,900,909)

please show the actual category data from the extensions you are testing with.

So provide these printout(s)

thank you very much

what is 19 / 199 / 1991 / 19911 in your system? Do you have an ED in this range
(Assume it is external?)
