This is what we have. 6.1 MICs w Call Pilot, 5 Extensions with personal mboxes that FNA to the mbox. A hunt group that matches a DID, 5 members, rings broadcast with overflow to Vmail DN that matches the DID. I can get the incoming call to ring the hunt group about 4 or 6 times (30 secs), then overflows to the hunt bgp mbox.

What they want is for the same setup with the call ringing one of the extentions for 4 rings before it rolls to the hunt group, then hunt gps mbox. My problem is that the first extention has a personal mbox that answers on a FNA to vmail.
I am 90% there but missing the final part, any thoughts?

did you try 2 hunt grps 1 with the single extension going to the 1 with 4 extensions that way the hunt group dn will not follow the fna/hunt of the set going to vm

I did try to setup a Hunt group for the one extension and let it overflow to the larger hunt group, but the system would not accept a hunt to overflow to another hunt. (bummer huh).

what about first hunt grp to a phantom set then answer dn on the other sets have answer dn set 4 rings to vm have other sets 6 ring to vm...use a 7100 set in switch room or ata as the overflow set that way its a phantom set and just check vm

I have a similar setup working. A hunt group will overflow to another hunt group on 6.1, so you may want to look at that closer. I also have an old ATA on the switch board that is included in the primary huntgroup so that I can have greater control over what happens when the real sets are all busy. You could program that as the last set in the hunt group with a cfwd to V/M.
