If when the call rolls over into voice mail and no other line shows a busy condition, then your voice mail problem resides with your dial tone provider, the local Telco. If a line shows in a busy condition and it is not No. 2, then your lines are out of order and your Flash is picking up on zero rings. Change the line order and change the ring answer status in your Flash.
I don't think its a problem with local telco. I was reconfiguring the flash voicemail and then this problem started happening. How do you change the line order and change the ring answer status
Line order is usually logical and based on the physical connection position to the KSU. You can change the line order on sets with F*81. Line answering on Flash is changed in Table programming - lines.. ans Y/N - rings 0-XX. This is found in the administration of the Flash F983. You must set each line to ring (yes or no) and tell the Flash how many rings to answer in. Line numbering is 001-004, 025-029 on an unexpanded MICS. This help?
