Hunt group overflow to operator 2221 does not ring. 2

Mics V4.1, Call Pilot150 V 31.10.14.22. Auto att answers inbound PRI call, sends to a hunt group and rings stations properly. Overflow happens but the call only flashes the icm key- no ring. If you dial the hunt group DN- call follows then overflows to op with ring and flash on the icm key.
HG set to broadcast to sets. No lines assigned to the hunt group. Why NO RING on outside calls?

This is the main operators set. What is the procedure to install a "Hunt key"?

I added a hunt key but that only calls the hunt group. I made the answer key extended- no help. I checked the DND on busy-NO. Operator has 4 icm keys and even idle, no ring-only flash. I set the rings to answer to 2 for caller id.
What have I missed??

Try bumping up the transfer call back timer.

The call returns to the overflow station and the light next to the icm key flashes and you can answer the call,,, but NO RING!

Back to the basics... Does that phone ring when called from another extension? The ringer could be turned down too low, or the speaker could be bad.

Phone ring from another ext? Yes Speaker Good. Vol level- Good.

Hunt Group Overflow DN does not ring

In this scenario the Hunt Group DN is a transfer point from the Norstar Voice Mail Custom Call Routing menu. When a transfer is completed to the Hunt group and the hunt delay timer expires (i.e. no hunt group members answer the call) the overflow DN does not ring.

If the HG is dialed directly from intercom, it works correctly.


This has been addressed in MICS 5.0 WI 6.02

Thanks. At least I know where I stand and the customer will have to decide if hunt groups are important enough to upgrade.

also for you since you are talking about the attendent phone is it possible that you have an appearance of the target line that is associated with the AA/Hunt group on the attendent phone?
