I think I am confused...OK I know I am confused. I have been reading the posts on https and they mostly relate to connecting to another server (i.e., cc processing company). I need to make a secure login on my own server. Everything will run off of one server. Do I need some special script to make this happen or can I just point to and expect that it will be a secure transaction of data. I will make sure its port 443, but other than that what else do I need to do?

Thanks in advance!

I guess I was not clear, sorry. Assuming I have an https enabled server, can I just point to https.../login.php and expect the data transmission to be secure?

Also, assuming I need to write a script to make the transaction secure, what might be some php oriented suggestions?

Thanks again!

Perfect. So if encryption is available, is there anything php wise that I have to do to make this happen, or will the server take care of everything for me?

Thanks again and again.
