Hi, I got a run32 Program in the startup and I could not get rid off from starting up eventhough I deleted the DLL file that it was trying to load. When I restart the Windows and could not find the DLL file, an error window pop up saying it could not load the DLL program. So my question is how to get ris off Run32 programs in the startup? Thanlk you

I appreciate your assitance

Hi,
A couple of ways, the safest being to run msconfig and uncheck it from the list of startup programs.

You can also edit the registry, but unless you are confident and back it up first, it can be dangerous - try the msconfig first.

Hi again,
Once you remove it from startup, you should also see if it can be uninstalled from the Add/remove programs in the Control panel.

if you have windows defender
use software explorer to remove or disable it in the startup programs

Amen to Trana & StevensD who speak the truth and best practices too!!!!!

Autoruns NOT MSCONFIG - Easier to see what's going on and use
