Hi,

Is it possible to send the name in PAI during invite to the SIP phone

How to do in 46xx settings?

It usually is included. What does a trace to the phone show?

The trace shows only number

Reach out to your line provider to see if this is even an option for them to send the name as well.

Hi,

Can you tell me where to check this in 46xx settings ?

I was connecting Avaya SIP phones with CUCM I raised ticket with Cisco when Cisco phones calling to Avaya only number is shown and not the name

Cisco TAC told that Avaya need to have the name in p-asserted identity during the invite to the phone

So make CUCM send the name in the p asserted identity.

Phone is not sending the name in PAI when registered with CUCM

CUCM knows the phone's name. So make CUCM send the name in the p asserted identity.

The phone is a phone. It has a phone number, not a name. You shouldn't care if your Avaya phone sends a name or not in PAI. CUCM will handle that phone's calls and if CUCM is, for example, routing a call to the pstn from that Avaya phone, CUCM needs to ensure the name is in PAI going out.

Anyway, you can't set that in 46xxsettings - that's a general config file that applies to many phones.
