We have a few phone extensions where we don't want certain lines to ring.

Ex - Ext. 34 should not have access to line 6

How would I go about setting that up? Any help is appreciated - thanks!

if you can get into system programming you need to remove that line from that extension

if you cant get into system programming follow the instruction provided above

I can get into programming - just not sure how to remove the line.

Any ideas? Thanks!

F*0 is button inquiry to see what line programming number, i.e line 5 might be 025 or 005 etc.

New software:
Sets&Terms/XXX/LinceAccess/LineAssignment/ change as need

Old software
Config/Sets/XXX/LineAccess/LineAssignment/ something like that.

Okay - need to reopen thread.

I was able to make the extensions "unassigned" - but when the agents pick up the phone, not only does it default to those two lines, it allows them to dial out.

Strangely, they can't receive calls on those lines (which is good)

I'm not sure how to block their ability from picking up the line and dialing out altogether.

Another setting in programming I missed? Thanks!

Okay - done.

Now, how do I set it when they pick up to default to line x?

Seriously, you guys rock. My phone guy would be charging me a fortune. I can't thank you enough.
