Does the IVS 2000 have a way of redirecting an incoming (ringing) call to voice mail?

Pedro

Call forward-all calls for the extensions to the voicemail pilot number.

If you're talking about an extension that doesn't exist but is in the DID range, I would just build a virtual and forward that to the voicemail pilot.

You could also use digit conversion.

What I want to do is while an incoming call is ringing, I press a button that redirects it to an extension. I have done that in a Coral PBX but don't know if if the NEAX 2000 IVS can do it.

Thanks,

Pedro

Yes it can.

Command 9000>

Provide the Multiline Terminal with a Call
Redirect key for transferring a call to a
destination station or VMS.
• Primary Extension No. + Key No.
F5012: Call Redirect 1 (For transferring to a VMS assigned
by CM51 YY=18)

Command 5118 assign tenant (in most cases 00 or 01) and vms pilot number
