Hi All,
I am very new to this system.
my company Norstar has 5 NT5B41GA cards, now only 32 lines have dial tone, I want to a new phone with new line, how can I do that? does it hit system max capacity?

really appreciate if you can give me some instruction or doc or web link.

thanks!

NT5B41GA those are caller ID line cards. Each have 4 circuits. Phones require station ports. Need to know what system you have, I assume by 32 "dial tones" it is a MICS. If you have 5 caller ID cards you must have at least the KSU and one trunk module. So to go beyond 32 phones you will need a station expansion module.

I suggest you hire a tech to expand your system.

Or he's mixing up "Lines" with "Extensions"....had that more than once from users...in that case there'd be a problem with an expansion module.
