Hello
I was wondering what changes I would have to make on this setup to mask the number when a user is dailing out.. This is so none of our clients is able to determine where the call is coming from. Thanks for any feedback on this

OK sorry I realise this is a CLID question. However I don't know how to assign a specific DN to a CLID entry that would block to outgoing display as not all phones need to have their ID blocked just two. Once again thanks to all for any inpu on this in advance
Kind Regards

ddgd in cls will do that, for a clid entry to show,

key 0 scr xxxx 4 with 4 as the clid table

From memory if you change the CLI table from entry 1 to D (has to be for both keys) for deny this should block the CLI from being sent out.
Try and test. Hope this helps?

didn't think d could be used that way, i use it for line 1 thru whatever to show the did clid of key 0.. mostly used when key 0 is did but others are not.. might blank out the clid if used on key 0..ddgd doesn't even show dn on internal, same on external... changed some phone in the lab that way so doc's couldn't call the techs for rush.. the needed to call the acd dn.. then i found out that those phones couldn't call some ld numbers because they had the no display blocked..

You might be right John, havn't tested but you may not be able to assign all keys with D - you might have to have at least 1 key assigned with a CLI table?
The other option is to create a new CLI table with no details in the table as per below. The assign the table to the keys on that phone.

Hello
Thanks very much John and Hasago. I will try this today. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. What is strange is that I got one of the phones block the caller ID but only half the time. It seems that when they call certain numbers the iD iis blocked however with others it shows up. Not sure why this is. Anyway I'll try the changes you both mentioned and let you know how it goes.
Once again thanks for your time and help
Kind Regards
Mark

I use the "D" for all the line 1 thru whatever to show the DN of key "0". So that if someone calls 911 from any of the other extensions besides key "0" on the phone. 911 thinks it came from the "0" key.

key 0 scr 1234
key 1 scr 2345 D
key 2 scr 5678 D
key 3 scn 6789 D
etc.

Hello Dan
Lets say I have 2 CLID entries 1 and 2.
To assign a specific entry to a key on a phone I would
do a key 0 scr 1 for CLID entry 1?
Thanks for your input
Mark
